Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Library Instruction Together (formerly Library Instruction Tennessee).
Initially founded as a community of practice for teaching librarians in Tennessee, LIT has expanded to include presenters and attendees from around the country. If you are passionate about instruction and are eager to learn what others are doing to improve information literacy programs at their institutions, please consider getting involved — wherever you are!
Save the Date
To ring in our new name, this year’s theme is BETTER TOGETHER! An in-person retreat will be held Friday, May 19, at the Nashville Public Library. A virtual conference will be held on Wednesday, May 24. Registration will open soon, so stay tuned! Registration will be free for all participants.
Submit a Proposal
We are accepting proposals for both the in-person LIT retreat and the virtual conference. The deadline to submit is February 17. We can’t wait to hear from you!
